Please forward this to all coaches.

1) Each Club is responsible for providing a home field and time for all home games identified (H) on the schedules.  If a club is unable to provide enough field time at their home park to accommodate the "Home" game requirement, that club should contact another club to arrange for additional turf/field time.  There are some clubs hosting Prov. Club Championships, who may find it difficult to schedule all the home games for the other age groups - Please help them out wherever possible with re-scheduling of the affected games.

2) Note: the league schedule begins on APRIL 6 for U18 - finishing on June 15.  The U11-17 league begins Apr 12/13th - finishing June 21/22.

3) U11-14 should be scheduled on Saturday's wherever possible. There may be the odd game scheduled on a Sunday if necessary. U15 & up should be scheduled on Sunday's wherever possible on turf field

4) Coach/Mgr. must contact the opposing coach/mgr. to confirm field & time to play. The individual team contacts & schedules will be available at www.fieldhockey.org

5) If you require a special arrangement to re-schedule a game, you must negotiate an arrangement with the opposing team. Failure to come to a reasonable agreeable alternative will always fall back to original schedule for responsibility to play & field the game. It is not reasonable to request a team to play two games in one weekend and no games another weekend.  We base the season on one game per week or weekend.

The League reserves the right to levy a $50 fine to any Club whose team cannot play a scheduled match.

6) Each home team is required to provide two umpires per game. If the home team is unable to provide both umpires, the home team is required to contact the away team to see if they can bring an umpire. The home team will be responsible for having money to pay the visiting umpire at the park prior to the game.

The schedules have been prepared with as much consideration as possible, to provide 50% of each teams league games at home. Additionally, 50% each club overall league games at home one weekend and 50% home game the next weekend. This is the first year of scheduling for your "new crew" so have patience please.
